I'm looking for Tiger Woods to be right near the top come Sunday. I know it's easy to pick Tiger as the favorite, but he is the favorite in any tournament he plays. If Phil repeats it would be a miracle. It's golf and anything can happen but I don't see that happening this year.

This is one tournament I'm looking forward to watching. I really enjoyed watching the year Mike Weir won the green jacket. It would be nice to see him do it again or maybe Stephen Ames.

It looks like it will be Tiger's to win or lose.

Out of these top 5 from last year I think Tiger has the best shot. The easy pick of course.

1 Phil Mickelson -7
2 Tim Clark -5
T3 Fred Couples -4
T3 Chad Campbell -4
T3 Tiger Woods -4

Geoff Ogilvy is one I'd watch out for this year to be on the leader board.

Golf is tough to pick winners. Geoff Ogilvy is a good choice wpggolfer. For some reason I think Stephens Ames may have a good tournament.

With Tiger being a clear favorite I'll be looking for these players to give him a run for his money...

Phil Mickelson
Chad Campbell
Jim Furyk
Geoff Ogilvy
Vijay Singh

That's my top 5 if Mike Weir or Stephen Ames can't pull out a miracle tournament.

Of course it would be nice to see Weir or Ames up there. Maybe Wier can somehw channel the Mike Weir of the past to pull it off once again. It should be an exciting tournament to watch. It's has a great atmosphere and I'm looking forward to next week.

Just a day to go until the Masters Tees off.

Yes, wpggolfer, it does have a great atmosphere at Augusta. It will be a fun tournament so long as Tiger doesn't win by 12 shots. I hope it's going to be close right down to the final putt. This is like the Super Bowl of golf even though it comes so early in the season.

I'm sure even the grounds keepers are nervous as they make the course look perfect as always.

Mike Weir and Phil Mickelson in the final pairing would be nice to see!

Justin Rose and Brett Wetterich were two unlikely leaders after the first day yesterday with their 69's.

Augusta is making it tough on everyone as it does every year. Everyone else shot in the 70's and unfortunately for some 80's.

I think I'm going to relax and watch some golf now.

It was an entertaining day at the Masters as the lead changed numerous times over the course of the day. Retief Goosen and Tiger both had the lead at some point today and I really thought one of them were going to win it. Tiger looked like he was going to come thru and win the tournament but it was Zach Johnson who gets the green jacket. To win with +1 shows how tough that course is. I would really like to see more PGA tournaments played on tough courses like Augusta National Golf Club.

I really enjoyed watching this years Masters tournament with the lead changing so many times.

Post subject:  2007 Masters Tournament Results

Zach Johnson played a masterful final round at Augusta National Golf Club on Sunday and charged to his first major title by winning the 71st Masters. It was only the second victory of his career. Despite a brief back-nine charge from Tiger Woods, Johnson kept his composure and capped his 3-under 69 with a delicate chip on the 18th green that nearly went in. Woods, meanwhile, kept alive his dubious streak of never having won a major when trailing after 54 holes.

1 Zach Johnson 71 73 76 69 289 +1
T2 Tiger Woods 73 74 72 72 291 +3
T2 Retief Goosen 76 76 70 69 291 +3
T2 Rory Sabbatini 73 76 73 69 291 +3
T5 Justin Rose 69 75 75 73 292 +4

T5 Jerry Kelly 75 69 78 70 292 +4
